Conducted by Oregon Symphony Associate Conductor Deanne Tham and featuring Violinist SooBeen Lee, Vivaldi's wildly popular Four Seasons represents Baroque music at its most cinematic. The four concertos characterize a festive birdsong, thunderstorms, harvest celebrations, and tranquil snowfall. Also on the program, the drama and explosive energy of Rodion Shchedrin's Carmen Suite.
